ITINERARY
Day 01 Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa - Salkantaypampa
(6-7 hours trek, medium difficulty)
Departure from Cusco (3,300m) at 4am. To arrive at Mollepata (3,100m) at 7.30am. We continue in bus to Soraypampa (3,800m) where we eat lunch. In the afternoon we start the walk up to Salkantaypampa (3,900m) where we make camp for the night.
Day 02 Salkantaypampa- Collpa Pampa
We leave Salkantaypampa at 7am. and continue to ascend to the pass at 4,300m after which we descend for 6kms (about 3 hours) to Collpa Pampa(2000m) where we set up camp next to the thermal baths.

Day 03 Collpa Pampa – La Playa
We walk for two hours at around 2,800 m before descending to the village of La Playa where we eat lunch and then continue towards the hydroelectric village. Camp for the night.
Day 04 Hydroelectric village – Machupicchu
Start at 7.00am with a visit to the archaeological ruins, we then take transport to Aguas Calientes where we spend the night in the hotel. (not included in price)
Day 05 Machupicchu-Cusco
In the morning we take the bus up to Machupicchu, relieve a guided tour before returning in the afternoon to Cusco.

Note: Within the biodiversity of the place we have Cockerels of the Rocks, bears, orchids and primary forests of Q’euñas etc.
Includes:
- Collection from your hotel in the morning and transfer in bus to Mollepata
- Professional Guide: English and Spanish speaking
- Igloo tents: 2 people in each 4-people-capacity tent, to allow for higher comfort and a safe keeping of backpacks
- Cook and cooking equipment
- Horsemen and horses (to carry tents, food and cooking equipment) – days 1 to 4
- One mattress per person
- Dining tent with tables and chairs
- Porters (to carry tents, food and cooking equipment)
- Porters to 7 kg per pax, the fourth day each passenger carry their own backpack

- Santuary Machupicchu entrance fees
