ITINERARY

Day 01: LIMA
Arrival in Lima / transfer to hotel / Overnight.

Day 02: LIMA
Breakfast , morning free / In the afternoon, city tour, visit the Historical centre of Lima: Main Square where you will also see the Government Palace, the Municipality, the Cathedral as well as the Archbishops Palace/ visit to the Gold Museum / Return to hotel / Overnight.

Day 03: LIMA – AREQUIPA
Breakfast/ Transportation to Lima Airport / Flight to Arequipa / arrival in AQP and transfer to hotel /
In the Afternoon, city tour (Santa Catalina Monastery, Main Square, cloisters of ¨la Compañía¨, ¨Dome of San Ignacio). /Overnight.

Day 04: AREQUIPA
Breakfast/ Transportation and guided visit to the countryside around Arequipa, Sabandía Mill. “La Mansion del Fundador”, (colonial house from the XVI century) / Lunch / Return to the city / transfer to hotel / Overnight

Day 05: AREQUIPA – PUNO
Breakfast / Transportation to AQP airport / Flight to Juliaca / Arrival in Juliaca, transfer to Puno / Visit the funerary tombs or “chullpas de Sillustani” / Transfer to hotel / Overnight in Puno.

Day 06: PUNO
Breakfast / Transfer to the pier in order to begin the boat excursion on Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the world ,3,800 m.a.s.l) / Visit the floating Islands of Uros and Tequile / Lunch / Return to the hotel / Overnight in Puno.

Day 07: PUNO – CUSCO
Breakfast/ Transfer to the train or bus station to Cusco/ During the journey, we will be able to observe the beautiful landscapes of the highlands and the camellias of the Andes such as Vicuñas and Llamas/ Lunch on board / La Raya, is the highest point the train will pass (Highest train pass in the world 4400 m.a.s.l.) / Arrival in Cusco/ Reception and transfer to the hotel / Overnight.

Day 08: CUSCO
Breakfast/ free morning / In the afternoon, guided tour of the city and surrounding ruins / in the evening, we will receive a briefing on the Inca Trail / Dinner at local restaurant / overnight.

Day 09: CUSCO / Machupicchu – Inka Trail (Chilca, Wayllabamba y LLactapata)
Transportation from the hotel to Chilca, starting point of the Inka trail / 3-hours trek to lunch / 2 more hours to our first camp site at WAYLLABAMBA / guided tour of the LLaqtapata archaeological complex / Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 10: Inka Trail (Warmiwañusca and Pacaymayo)
Breakfast / Guided trek to the highest point of the Inka Trail WARMIWAÑUSCA 4.200 m.a.s.l. / Lunch / In the afternoon, trek to PACAYMAYO / Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 11: Inka Trail (Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, Puyupatamarca & Wiñaywaina)
Breakfast / Guided trek to Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, Puyupatamarca / Lunch // In the afternoon, trek to Wiñaywaina / Guided tour of this beautiful Inka citadel / Dinner / Overnight at camp

Day 12: Machupicchu – Inka trail / CUSCO
Breakfast / Guided trek toward the Inca citadel of MACHUPICCHU / Guided tour /
In the afternoon chance to visit the thermal springs, accommodation at hotel / Overnight.

Day 13: Machu Picchu – CUSCO
Breakfast / free day / Opportunity to visit the citadel again or INTIPUNKU, WAYNA PICCHU / In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train / Arrival and transfer to hotel / Overnight in Cusco

Day 14: CUSCO – LIMA
Breakfast / Transfer to Cusco airport / Flight to Lima / Arrival and transfer to hotel / free day / Overnight in Lima.
