ITINERARY

Day 01: LIMA
Arrival in Lima and transfer to hotel / In the afternoon, city tour , visit the Historical centre of Lima: Main Square where you will also see the Government Palace, the Municipality, the Cathedral as well as the Archbishops Palace/ visit to the Gold Museum / Return to hotel / Overnight.

Day 02: PARACAS - National Reserve / NAZCA
Breakfast / Transfer from Lima to the Paracas Ecological Reserve, where we will board a boat and visit the Ballestas Islands / In the afternoon transfer to Nazca city / overnight in Nazca.

Day 03: NAZCA – Nazca Lines / AREQUIPA
Breakfast / Transfer to the local airport in order to board a small plane and fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines / in the afternoon transfer to Arequipa City by bus (6-hours aprox.) arrival in AQP and transfer to hotel / overnight.

Day 04: AREQUIPA / Colca Canyon
Breakfast / Bus journey to the Colca Canyon / Arrival in Chivay. In the afternoon, visit the thermal baths of the Calera and Coporaque / overnight.

Day 05: Colca Canyon/ AREQUIPA
Breakfast / excursion by bus to the observation point “Cruz del Condor” where you will be able to appreciate the spectacular flight and gliding of the Condor as well as views of the Colca Canyon / In the afternoon return to Arequipa / Overnight.

Day 06: AREQUIPA / Juliaca / PUNO
Breakfast / City tour / In the afternoon, transfer to Arequipa airport/ flight to Juliaca / arrival in Juliaca and transfer to hotel in Puno / Overnight.

Day 07: PUNO
Breakfast / In the Morning, excursion to Lake Titicaca / trip to the Uros floating islands/
In the afternoon we pay a visit to the funerary tombs or “Chullpas de Sillustani” / return to the hotel / Overnight.

Day 08: PUNO / CUSCO
Breakfast/ Transfer to the train or bus station to Cusco/ During the journey, we will be able to observe the beautiful landscapes of the highlands and the camellias of the Andes such as Vicuñas and Llamas/ Lunch on board / La Raya, is the highest point the train will pass (Highest train pass in the world 4400 m.a.s.l.) /arrival in Cusco/ Reception and transfer to the hotel / Overnight.

Day 09: CUSCO
Breakfast/ In the afternoon, guided tour of the city and surrounding ruins / overnight.

Day 10: CUSCO / Machu Picchu
Breakfast / transfer to train station / Train to Machu Picchu/ Round trip bus ticket to the Sanctuary / Guided tour of the Sanctuary / Lunch buffet / Overnight in Machupichu or Aguas Calientes.

Day 11: Machu Picchu / CUSCO
Breakfast / Day free / Opportunity to visit INTIPUNKU, WAYNA PICCHU / In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train / overnight in Cusco.

Day 12: CUSCO / Sacred Valley
Breakfast / Guided excursion to Sacred Valley / lunch buffet at one of the typical restaurants in the valley / In the afternoon, we visit the small towns of Calca, Urubamba, Chincheros and the Ollantaytambo Fortress /
Return to Cusco / overnight.

Day 13: CUSCO / PUERTO MALDONADO
Breakfast / Transfer to Cusco airport / Flight to Puerto Maldonado / Arrival in Puerto Maldonado / Reception and transfer to the river port / Set out on outboard motorboat down the Madre de Dios River to the lodge / Welcome and lunch at the lodge/ In the afternoon, stroll in the jungle / Dinner / Overnight.

Day 14: PUERTO MALDONADO
Breakfast / Boat ride up the Madre de Dios River / 1-hour jungle trek to the magnificent Lake Sandoval / peaceful walk around the Lake which is surrounded by gigantic palms and other trees/Return to the lodge /lunch / visit a native croft / dinner/ overnight at the lodge.

Day 15: PUERTO MALDONADO / LIMA
Breakfast/ Transfer to airport for the flight to Lima./ Reception and transfer to hotel/ Farewell dinner/ night time stroll around the city/ overnight.

Day 16: LIMA
Breakfast/ Transfer to airport/ End of tour.
